Hotwire.com Eliminates All Air Booking Fees

Hotwire.com has permanently eliminated its airline ticket booking fees. The booking fee elimination applies to both opaque and retail listings on all flights, reinforcing the company’s commitment to help consumers travel well for less.

"It will help customers save even more money during this period of increased air travel costs," said Eric Grosse, senior vice president and general manager at Hotwire.com. "We already offer some of the best travel deals in the business. Our decision to continue our no-booking-fee policy reinforces our commitment to deliver low prices on travel."

Hotwire offers two ways to find amazing airfare deals with no booking fees:

• Hotwire Limited Rate offers are our lowest prices on a preferred travel day, but require a flexible schedule because departure or arrival times are not revealed until after booking.

• Hotwire also offers Retail Fares which allow consumers to see exact flight times and airline before booking a reservation.

In addition to dropping air booking fees, Hotwire recently introduced its Airfare Savings Hub. This sleek and redesigned air interface makes it even easier for flexible and price-conscious travelers to save money on airfare by proactively providing money saving recommendations. Simple tradeoffs such as traveling on alternate dates or traveling from alternate airports can mean big savings for the cost-conscious traveler.
