Frontier Starts Nonstop Hartford-Denver Route in 2007, Offers Introductory Fares
Frontier Airlines will launch daily nonstop service between its Denver International Airport (DEN) hub and Bradley International Airport (BDL) beginning March 2, 2007. As part of its announcement, Frontier said it will offer introductory fares as low as $99. All fares are one-way with round-trip purchase required and must be purchased by 10 p.m. MST, January 10, 2007. In addition, Frontier will offer double miles for travel between Denver and Hartford through April 15, 2007, for members of its frequent flyer program, EarlyReturns.
Passengers flying between Denver and Hartford will be aboard Frontier's new Airbus A319 aircraft, with 33 inches of legroom, as well as 24 channels of DIRECTV® service and a choice of three pay-per-view movies in every seatback.
The new service will provide passengers with the only nonstop flight between Denver and Hartford since 2001. From Denver, travelers can make convenient connections to Frontier cities throughout the western United States and to two of Frontier's eight Mexican destinations, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta.
Ralph J. Carpenter, Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Transportation, said, “This daily service will give travelers flying out of Bradley low-cost access to world-class skiing, Mexican beaches, a thriving Denver business community and connections to all of Frontier's destination cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Not to mention that with our early-morning departure from Bradley, passengers can be in Denver and up to the mountains by noon to enjoy a half day of skiing, biking, hiking or any of the great activities the beautiful Rocky Mountains have to offer.”
The Denver–Hartford daily flight schedule is as follows: Those headed to Denver will depart Hartford at 7:35 a.m. and arrive in Denver at 9:50 a.m. Those headed to Hartford will depart Denver at 11:55 p.m. and arrive in Hartford at 5:35 a.m.
