'Bon Appétit' at Beaver Creek, Indeed
Our mouths are watering just thinking about it. Beaver Creek Resort, Colo., is pairing up with Bon Appétit magazine and a line-up of America’s top culinary chefs to present The Bon Appétit Culinary and Wine Focus at Beaver Creek, Feb. 1–3, 2007. The ninth annual winter festival is one of just a handful of Bon Appétit Wine and Spirits Focus events in the nation and includes a celebrity chef ski race.
The festival provides a unique opportunity for guests to join their favorite chefs for a dual slalom ski race, Grand Tasting, MasterChef Challenge, cooking demonstrations, wine workshops and seminars, live music and dinners hosted at private Beaver Creek homes. More than 30 chefs from Beaver Creek and across the nation are expected to participate. Participating guest chefs selected by Bon Appétit magazine include:

Highlights for the weekend include Thursday evening’s MasterChef Challenge, inviting chefs to go head-to-head "Iron Chef" style by using mystery ingredients to create specialty dishes. Friday evening's Grand Tasting will feature signature dishes prepared by more than 30 local and guest chefs. An extraordinary line-up of wines and spirits will add to the weekend’s culinary sensations.
